Quick Scene: "The Cake" (inspired by true events)

Scene:

Wal Mart Superstore Bakery.

Wal Mart Employee
What’s this for, some kinda joke?

Adolph’s Father
No, that’s actually my son’s name.

Wal Mart Employee
Your boy’s name is Adolph…

Adolph’s Father
… Hitler, that’s correct.

Wal Mart Employee
Uh huh.  Well look here, Mr. Hitler, we don’t got a thing against names exactly around here, but that sounds like a joke.

Adolph’s Father
Yes, I get that a lot.

Wal Mart Employee
Alright then, if you’re serious.  It’ll take us a few minutes to put the name on here.  You want anything extra, like some swastikas or some stripy pajamas or something?

Adolph’s Father
No, just the name.

Wal Mart Employee
Okay.  You still want the Disney’s High School Musical themed cake or something else, like maybe something gray or something?

-->
Adolph’s Father
No, no, High School Musical.  He just loves that show.

Wal Mart Employee
Yeah, my grandkids too.

Adolph’s Father
So, a few minutes?

Wal Mart Employee
Yeah.

Adolph’s Father
Great!  Can I leave these bed sheets here while I do some more shopping?

Wal Mart Employee
Sure.

Adolph’s Father
I gotta pick up some…

Wal Mart Employee
The gun shop is in the Sporting Goods section along the far wall over there.

Adolph’s Father
Awesome!  I’ll see you in a bit!
